Hi I'm Andrea, the creator & owner of Sweet Dreamery Desserts. One of the first things
you'll notice about me; I laugh and smile alot! I'm a lifetime Chocoholic and I love to bake.
I've had a love of baking long before it became a trend. One of our major goals at Sweet
Dreamery is to donate baking lessons to children from underprivileged & foster families.
Positive reinforcement will take place in the form of fun, learning & building self esteem.
Lessons would take place in our store or at a community center.
I opened my first bakery when I was 8 years old. I received two Easy Bake Ovens for
Christmas, I was in business. My baked goodies sold out almost every time. My sisters & I
would enjoy the leftovers. My Mom baked the best German Chocolate Cake. And, one
summer she decided to teach me how to bake my own. And, as I grew older I was able to
spend time in Mom and Dad's Belizean restaurant. Mom and Dad loved scratch cooking and
baking. They were always competing to see who could out do the other. Our family had fun
in the kitchen.
Every holiday I would watch & if lucky assist Mom with her baking. She would bake for
family, friends & anyone who wanted to purchase her baked goods. My Mom, ILamae would
use fresh & natural ingredients. I admired her values & to this day her standards are alive in
Sweet Dreamery Desserts.
Sweet Dreamery does support local nonprofit organizations when possible. We have
donated cupcakes to The Supporting Cast Foundation. This cause is very close to my heart.
TSCF focuses on literacy. I love to read! We have donated baked goods to USC's(Pi Beta
Phi) Pi Social's annual bake sale to raise funds for First Book's Campaign, which provides
children in need with brand new books. We are happy to support this cause.
